End of year progress

Things continue on their slow and steady pace. The shed is getting ‘furnished’. New bed frame. Simple 2×4’s and 1×6’s.

New sink cabinet. Inspired by Van Life people who have to come up with creative solutions to having a working sink in a vehicle. The bottle underneath is my water source, and the blue bucket will be the ‘drain’. I’ll use that to water plants.

Driftwood coat hooks.

Added a second row of shelving. You can never have enough shelves! Especially if you have packrat tendencies!!

My Tansu ‘dresser’ has a new shelf unit on top of it that will act as a closet. In the cubby behind is the composting toilet.

Rest is needed after weed blocking and building stone walls.

Below is the path in the other direction. Over all, it’s about 140′. Once the mulch is down, it will be a small weed free zone. Little by little, there will be more. Mulch is hard to get right now.

Creative reuse of materials on site. Logs on the left, rocks on the right. I don’t think I’ll EVER run out of rocks!

Mini raised bed continuing along the fence line to plant vetiver. Still have a pile of logs leftover from the clearing. They make useful retaining walls.

We had some rain recently and the rainbows are back!
