The guys have come back with their machines and are shaping and landscaping the land. There are surprise areas where there’s inconvenient bedrock, but luckily, so far, nothing in the actual house location.
Harvested rock to repurpose. There are sooooo many! Mostly small ones, but the big ones are going to get put to good use.

The rock wall continues. The crevices and cracks will get planted with native ferns. Maybe a succulent or two.

Replacing the wooden precarious ‘jungle steps’ with more robust and safer concrete ones.
Very creative form work. This is one of those areas with inconvenient bedrock, and since I’m not stocked with a jack hammer or dynamite, we have to work around them.
